History of Kodak
The company was set up by George Eastman, with Henry String in Rochester, in New York, in the year 1881. the name Kodak comes from the name of the name of their first product, which was an Eastman simple roll. Later the word Kodak grew so popular in the world of cameras, that the name Kodak got immediately popular among people. The name was registered in the year 1888, September 4th. The advertising slogan of Kodak during the initial years was “You press button, we do the rest”. It is this line that immediately caught the attention of the masses and Kodak slowly became a household name. The most popular logo of Kodak was coined in the year 1987 and it continued till the year 2006.
