LG India has its two operations plants in India currently. While the Greater Noida plant manufactures color televisions, NEO Plasma and LCD televisions, eco friendly refrigerators the Pune plant manufactures color monitors, GSM mobile phones, washing machines and other appliances.
The Indian wing of the company, LG India has built up a huge network of dealers and service centers spanning all over India. While the major towns and cities are covered extensively, LG has not given up even on the smaller towns and rural areas where it is raising its presence considerably. And that is reflected in the increasing sales and volume turnover recorded by the LG India with a whopping revenues of INR 6,500 crores in 2004 from a mere INR 125 crores in 1997 when the company launched its operations in India.
