History of Appliances

Appliances have made our life easier and simpler. Every day we use several appliances in our home and offices. Thanks to the rapid progress of science and technology, we can now take the help of appliances for almost all kinds of work. There was a time when the only way of communication between people was letters are postal service. Later telephone was invented and now we have got mobile phones that we can carry in our pocket and even in palms. In early days, gramophone was the only source of listening to music. Then came tape recorders, cassette players, followed by CD players and now DVD players. Similarly there was a time when people didn't know about computer. And now people are not even satisfied with laptops. Nowadays, we don't need to give physical effort for washing our clothes because we have got washing machines in home. Even we don't even need to get up from our bed or sofa set for switching on and surfing channels in television set. Day by day more advanced appliances are coming up in the market and are making things more easy for us. We just use the appliances when needed and after using keep it back tom its place but never try to think how these things were made? How the idea of making such wonderful things came to some body's mind. But the fact is that history is hidden behind the invention of all appliances. In fact history of appliances are as interesting as their functioning.
